Mr. Kenneth Black

Black Elementary School opened in August 1989. Our school is named after retired Aldine I.S.D. Deputy Superintendent, Kenneth D. Black.

 

Mr. Black is an extraordinary individual, who guided a generation of students, teachers and administrators during his career in Aldine I.S.D. He loves watching children learn and grow into successful citizens with high expectations and bright futures. We feel honored to have our school named after such a dedicated Aldine I.S.D. educator, administrator and leader.

Arrival: 
Students can arrive as early as 7:05 AM.  Breakfast is served until 7:50 AM daily.

Tardy:
 
Students are tardy after 8:00 AM.

Dismissal: 
Begins at 3 PM

Black Elementary is a standardized dress code school:

Girls:

  • Any solid color polo shirt with a collar
  • Navy blue or khaki pants  (no cargo pants)
  • Navy blue or khaki shorts
  • Navy blue or khaki skorts or skirts
  • Navy blue or khaki jumper (dress)
  • White or blue socks
  • Tennis shoes
  • Shirts tucked in
  • Clear or mesh backpacks

Boys:  

  • Any solid color polo shirt with a collar
  • Navy blue or khaki pants  (no cargo pants)
  • Navy blue or khaki shorts
  • Black or brown belt
  • White or blue socks
  • Tennis shoes
  • All shirts tucked in
  • Clear or mesh backpacks
